The protector is designed for 45 ACP pistols. This is a machined U.S. Standard .578"-28 utilized on most 45 ACP pistols. Stainless thread protector, with a fluted .750" OD. It fits Barrels and Adapters Using U.S. Standard .578"-28 Threads. Don't run the risk of damaging the threads when muzzle accessories are not being used. Protective Cap is 4140 Steel with a Natural Finish.
