This is a machined "METRIC" M13.5 X 1LH thread protector .440" (7/16") long, with a fluted .625" (5/8") OD. It fits Barrels and Adapters Using 13.5 x 1LH Threads Commonly found on Glock, H&K, and Sig 9mm. Don't run the risk of damaging the threads when muzzle accessories are not being used. Protective Cap is 4140 Steel with a Black Oxide Finish Approximate Dimensions .625" (5/8") O.D. X .440 (7/16") Long. Please measure the length of the thread on your barrel or adapter to be sure that (7/16") long will cover your thread.

Another nice, fluted barrel thread protector from Hughes. I got this one for my Glock 17, which is Austrian made and has metric thread instead of the usual 1/2-28 seen on many American firearms with bore diameters in the .22 to .30 caliber neighborhood. Be sure to measure the length of your thread. NOTE: this is just the protector. If you need an o-ring, either use the one that came with your firearm or order a bag of a hundred Viton o-ings like I did. I think the fluted finish is a nice alternative to knurled. Next I might get some stainless thread protectors just because. Quick shipping, quality product, decent prices.
